a guywearingheels : Thank you so much for this amazing and wonderful reply! I am always saying exactly what you running into your pastor and his wife demonstrates - the people who bitch the loudest about other people doing things are usually the ones who do that thing the most! I love so much that you had that chance moment with your ex-wife. I am so happy she got to see you out in the world being your beautiful self. It nothing else, it gave her a moment of pause - a moment of thought. She will remember that chance encounter above all other things the two of you ever shared. It will always be a little thorn in her mind. I feel the same way about being out there - we need to be seen - we need to show the world that we exist.

I enjoyed your post 'if you know me'. It brought back memories of meetings that weren't expected. The first was a nudist resort before my wife divorced me. Nude resorts are wonderful places where one can enjoy being free from the encumbrances of clothing. While at the resort who do we encounter but a local pastor and his wife! This couple crusaded against nudity and pushed for dress codes within their congregation. And here they are, nude in public. Of course these phonies claimed to be “doing social research” - yea, right!
I was in a department store -dressed - shopping for pantyhose when I felt someone touch my sleeve. Unbelievably it was my ex-wife who complimented me on my look and engaged in some small talk. Uplifting since we went through a bitter divorce and I now live with my ex-wife's mother.
I dress full time and have had numerous encounters with men and women, some positive, some - not so much. I want to be out there since it's good for transgender acceptance to be seen. It also gives me an opportunity to evangelize and engage others thinking about their own gender identity.

a njbibrett : I feel the same way, but it is sad how much emphasis people put on social norms and fitting into their little boxes that they want us all to fit in. Sending you lots of love and good thoughts!
